Motivation Hi Deda! I love reading the comic. I have only made a couple comments over the years, but I'm always reading and it always makes my day better. There's so much love in your work. How do you stay motivated to keep working on it, after all these years? I love how consistent you are with posting, but the characters, the story, the art, it improves and moves forward.

Hi DaPiffle,
Motivation... mhh... it's more like a ritual.
So I work a very long and tiring job and I need to find meaning in what I do: I teach and I love it, when I am in class it's the best part of my day. So I need to provide an example to my students and discover new things so that we can share information.
I also need to show them grit and resilience because you need a lot of that to work in the industry.
At the same time, when I am not in class, there is a lot of nonsense in my job and I need to keep sane of mind and so I hold on to my creative side.
I like to tell stories, I always did, I got this trait from my grandmother and this is what keeps her alive in my heart, what I do not have is enough time to tell them all hahaha.
So I cut out time, from 5am to 8am, then I go to work, I come back at 6pm and untile 10:30 pm I eat, draw, then go to bed and read a book while doing legs/bed yoga against the wall. By 11pm I am asleep.
Establishing a routine is what makes me wake up in the morning and automatically go to the computer to work, once the routine is established you do not need motivation anymore, it just becomes second nature hahaha.

I hope this answers your question :D

Motivation It does, thank you so much for replying.
I appreciate it.
I admire such dedication to telling stories. They have made me laugh and think, and have helped see me through some tough times, especially in my teen years.
Again, thanks for all your hard work.
