I'm a P-p-p-p-p-p-p-p... hear me roar X,D
Naw, Kane, it's a just a little slip, so to speak *fans screen* . Castalia seems pretty ok. She's da girl.

SecretComicLover (Guest), December 1st, 2011, 6:36 pm

Oh I do hope they don't skip that step, even though there's all the parts that are supposed to matter to a man... I hope she still gets what matters to her...

AHAHA. Did he just...? ...Earlier than expected? Or did I not interpret the last two panels correctly? :))

Nessamh, December 1st, 2011, 6:48 pm

Lol did he just like slip in by accident?? HAhahaha

Sopek, December 1st, 2011, 7:03 pm

@SCL : You know, I think just being with Kane is what matters to her. The first time is hardly ever perfect.

Also? Its cute that Kane isn't feeling so perfect, and yet he wanted everything to go perfectly. Well.. sometimes things turn out better when they don't go quite as planned. <3

"Oh, crap..."

No wonder he doesn't want to tell his crew... (if I've understood the scene correctly)

Bibi (Guest), December 1st, 2011, 9:18 pm

Sopek is right plus:

That part that matters to her already came that's why she says: my turn to make you happy.

i don't really understand what happened in the last 3 panels...can someone explain

constant_boredom, December 1st, 2011, 11:29 pm

I'm pretty sure nothing's happened yet in those last two panels. It seems more like Kane is freaking out over falling on top of her when he's this close to losing it XD

SecretComicLover (Guest), December 2nd, 2011, 4:39 pm

@Sopek and @Bibi: I guess what matters varies from woman to woman, I was just thinking that she hadn't gotten any more than what she'd usually get, and I don't know if she felt the same pleasure that Giov' would feel from getting in, that's all... I don't know how many women wanted to feel that sort of pleasure in that era, maybe they were told that it wasn't right, that the things one would do to get it weren't right, that only his pleasure mattered for conception, but I wasn't there, so I wouldn't really know...

Bibi (Guest), December 2nd, 2011, 6:07 pm

You think like a man, you only want your own sexual satisfaction, that is selfish thinking. (just so you know men's preferences are very different from what you think)

For once that you could have assumed the good stuff you are assuming nothing instead and refuse to see. But all the hints are there.

The previous page for layout, facial expression and the usage of dialogue should be enough to make you induce that he made her happy, otherwise she would not tell him: "my turn to make you happy" - he had done something to her already!

And even if it didn't, Castalia saying that means something: Sopek is right!
There is more to this than mere sex! She was feeling precious and delicate and happy.

So true what matters varies from woman to woman, thank goodness this woman thinks and love with her heart and not with her lil' companion.

SecretComicLover (Guest), December 2nd, 2011, 6:48 pm

@Bibi: this is all I will say, I might have just been repeating myself again... I don't know how much attention a woman's companion got in that era (it was mostly the cave that was noticed, perhaps by either man or woman)... I keep thinking that it would be a very caring man indeed who would attend to that and see that she has that much pleasure, that she'd feel that much loved... I'll grant that there are other ways to show that she's loved, and Kane was probably doing those things, at least... As long as it's not the woman who has to fully feel the one and the man who has to fully feel the other, that's fine, too...

In this story we have extra-ordinary characters because they live outside normality.
They don't live in the ordinary world. The ordinary world is barely shown to us, so who cares about it?

They are outside the law, the common judgements and they live by their own rules. That's because they were outcasts, rejected and therefore cannot abide by rules of normality.

17 chapters stating this over and over, in every possible way, in every possible action and line; you still want to talk about what is not there? Why?

Sopek, December 2nd, 2011, 9:32 pm

@SCL You need to stop wondering how much attention people got "in that era" and start picking up the subtle hints about how much attention they got IN THIS COMIC. Though it is very true to the era, its still a comic. Kane loves Castalia. It's quite obvious she's happy, despite the imperfection of the moment. (Perhaps its the imperfection that make the moment perfect?) Heck, I am far from inexperienced, and I must say that most of the men I have been with have CARED A LOT about what I wanted. (And that is how graphic I will get.) So stop worrying and ENJOY THE STORY.

Also? About the Fan fiction you always talk about writing? Stop talking and actually write it.

@Bibi : Its nice to have someone agree with me! <3 Wish it happened more often!

Silk Raven, December 3rd, 2011, 3:43 pm

THAT can happen to a Balthasar??? WAHAHAHAHAHA

SecretComicLover (Guest), February 1st, 2012, 2:05 pm

@Sopek and Bibi Hopefully I've learned my lesson now, and I'll just relax... By the way, I'm not feeling so confident about my fanfic idea, somebody had claimed it would be dead in in the water before it began the way I approached it and played the OC... I just really wish I knew how willful I could really make a female character in that era in matters of love, pleasure and holding one's own in regards to land and people she cares about...
